■ Company introduction

Meisei Metal Industries Co., Ltd., based in Daito City, Osaka Prefecture, designs and manufactures automotive large press dies.

We have continued to grow by actively incorporating the latest technologies, as well as skills related to die manufacturing we have accumulated since our founding.

We have eight employees who have received the award for excellent skilled workers in Osaka Prefecture (Osaka’s master craftsman.)

In recognition of our high technological capabilities, we were commissioned to create a die for the hood of the Mazda Roadster (MX-5), while also receiving orders from domestic and overseas automobile manufacturers.

■ Manufacturing track record (excerpt)

We design and manufacture dies for relatively large components, such as roof panels, doors (inner and outer), and hoods (inner and outer) for domestic and overseas automobile manufacturers.

The following are clients and vehicle models that we have worked with to date.

- Toyota Motor Corp.: Alphard, Vellfire, Voxy, Mirai, Land Cruiser, etc.

- Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd.: Canbus, Hijet Cargo, Hijet Truck, Taft, Rocky, Tanto, etc.

- Mazda Motor Corp.: Roadster, CX-60, Demio

- Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.: Note, Leaf, etc.

■ Site tour details

Participants will be given an overview of the company and tour the factory.

At our factory, large tool machines and a 1,800-ton mechanical press we possess can be observed, as well as 3D design and 3D simulation work, among other things.

We hope we can convey to participants the attractiveness of the company, which aims to become a die manufacturer that can compete internationally.
