Awarded the Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award! A tour of the manufacturing site with a classroom lecture by a mold design and manufacturing expert

■ Company introduction

Since its founding, Konishi Metal Mold Engineering Ltd., an expert in mold design and manufacturing, has manufactured over 10,000 molds.

Our molds feature (1) significantly reduced man-hours and working hours, (2) a block structure that enables the replacement of only heavily worn components, and (3) high precision within 10 microns.

Our customers come from a wide range of fields, including automobiles, home appliance components, and medical equipment.

In addition, our mold brand “CORNICHE” (Metal press VE mold technology) is capable of manufacturing molds with a completely new hybrid structure that enables processing using molds and machining at the same time.

Also, as a mold doctor of a mold transfer support center, we repair, modify, and manufacture molds made by other companies or unknown manufacturers and molds without a drawing, providing a system to pass on techniques and know-how to the next generation.

Furthermore, we have launched the development and commercialization of a generative AI-based real time defective product detection system, as part of our efforts to constantly challenge ourselves to benefit our customers on a daily basis.

In recognition of our technology and initiatives, we have received many awards, including the Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).

For those interested in our technology and products, in this plan, we offer a tour of the mold manufacturing site and presswork and introduce our technology at a classroom lecture.

We have been pursuing initiatives for regional revitalization through the hosting of on-the-job experience for local technical high schools and junior high schools. We hope to provide participants in this program with an opportunity to experience a manufacturing space and atmosphere in a cheerful manner.
