Since its founding 50 years ago, Fuji Seimitsu Kogyo Co., Ltd. has manufactured products, primarily electronic components, using photo etching technology.

Etching is a machining method that enables high-mix low-volume production (acceptable from a single regular-sized board) and is an ideal method of manufacturing original components, prototypes prior to die manufacturing, or products that cannot be made by presswork, allowing us to receive many production orders from manufacturers. 

In addition, our proprietary radiator core guards for motorcycles hold a more than 95% share of the domestic market. 

■ What is photo etching?

Photo etching is a forming or surface machining technique utilizing the corrosive action of chemicals. 

To create the desired shape, corrosion treatment (masking) is applied only on the required part of the material surface, and the unnecessary part is dissolved, eroded, and etched. 

Since no external or thermal stress is applied, precision components without burrs or distortion can be manufactured.

While observing a series of machining processes, including the manufacturing process, transfer method, etching process, and secondary machining (sheet-metal process) of photomasks, you will receive explanations of the characteristics of the etching machine we have developed and the inspection system that uses high-precision inspection equipment.
