■Company Introduction

With the mission of "creating 100 businesses from 100 local issues," Odaka Workers' Base Inc. is creating diverse local businesses mainly in Odaka Ward, Minamisoma City, a former evacuation-ordered zone due to the nuclear disaster.

Our raison d'être, vision, and mission, as well as our efforts to date, are described below.

We want to realize the ideal lifestyle through our own creativity and ownership, no matter what the environment.

Our raison d'etre is to work together with our clients, supporters, local communities, the public sector, and our staff to break through the anxiety of continuing to live in rural areas through business growth.

[Vision] Realize self-reliant local communities

Modern society is constantly undergoing discontinuous change, and it is difficult to foresee the future as an extension of the present.

It is not sustainable to leave the solution of many issues to a single business that employs 1,000 people; 100 businesses employing 10 people are always in motion. By fostering such a culture in the community, we will realize a spiritually and economically self-reliant community.

To realize our vision, we will create 100 businesses, both directly and indirectly.

We will prove from the former nuclear power plant accident evacuation zone in Fukushima, which has been reset to zero, that local issues can be resolved through the creation of 100 businesses, and that ideal lifestyles can be realized in any region.

■About the Plan

In this plan, our staff will explain the angles of our company's past history and business activities according to your request.

We also accept online presentation, so please let us know if you wish to hold the meeting online via chat after making a reservation.

In the case of an offline presentation, the meeting will be held at the Odaka Pioneer Village, a coworking space that also serves as an accommodation in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture.

We look forward to welcoming everyone who is involved in local revitalization and community development.

Odaka Pioneer Village, the venue of the event. People from inside and outside of the community visit the village on a daily basis and spend their time freely using the facility for workcations, events, and other activities as they see fit.
